Peachtree Inn

The hotel is on Princess street downtown and close to a couple of restaurants. It was convenient to have a continental breakfast with bread and bagels for toasting, cereal, coffee and tea, as well as fruit and pastries. They were very busy and kept running out of cups, glasses, knives, coffee, but they did replace them fairly quickly when you asked the wait staff for them. Because it was frosh week, the people in the room beside us returned to their room around 3:30 AM and started having a party. We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The main, very small lobby is the only part of the hotel that is not situated on top of a small strip mall. The people at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly. But, the rooms were very tired and not very clean. Our biggest shock came when the staff brought up a tube of the banned 'made in China' toothpaste. Especially since the person wanting to use it was quite pregnant at the time. ...read more
