Tucumcari-Days Inn

We were greeted by two people who did not seem happy to have us as guests in a lobby that was messy and smelled bad. We were given rooms that were upstairs at the back of the hotel even though all three of us were obviously handicapped. There was no elevator. As we were unloading our luggage someone was hiding behind the back fence sizing up our vehicle obviously hoping to break into it so I had to move the car to a more well lit area. The rooms were not very clean and smelled bad even though we had asked for non-smoking rooms. The bathrooms were very tiny and uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was skimpy and inadequate. They put us upstairs and we had lots of luggage traveling with 2 small children. Wanted to charge us $5.00 for crib. smoking room -smelled. sheets were stained i think with blood. I paid the same price for motel in scottsdale az that was awesome. ...read more
