This hotel is cheap and nearby some restaurants.

The entire hotel was dirty and the rooms had a peculiar odor.

Its hard to expect much out of the Howard Johnson. The hotel is under renovation so all public spaces are dirty, messy, etc. The room itself was fairly clean, but smelled bad. Conveniently located.

Advertised pool and there was not one, it was not clean, management was not friendly or accommodating.

This hotel was not accurately advertised. It was difficult to understand the people working at the front desk and they did not honor our reservations that we originally made

It was very close to the Meadowlands Sports Complex for an amazing price.

Parking was a little cramped.

The hotel was overall very nice. The rooms were well kept and the staff was very friendly. Checking in and out was a snap. If you had questions about the surrounding area, they were quick to offer assistance. The only down side we had while staying there was our view. I like that the hotel was in a quite area and the restaurants around the hotel were good.

The room was not really as cleanily as I expected, the cloth hangers were broken, and there was no remote controller for the television set.

The hotel was not the worst that I have ever been in the it was most certainly not the best by no means. The TV set needed to be fixed because it had no volume and for what was offered the room was extremely small. It felt like it was an ant farm. ...read more

The outside was strewn with trash.

Mattresses were not comfortable. Other guests slammed doors all night.
