Traveling as Couple
We enjoyed the hotel itself--it was quiet and the night lady was very helpful--Market Street was flooded and we couldn't get to the hotel. She guided me on an alternate route and was very patient. We had a microwave and a refrigerator. I forgot my blowdryer and there was one in the room. We enjoyed the pool the next morning. I just wish the breakfast had lasted longer. ...read more

Got in there too late to go somewhere else and was just trying to get some rest for the next day and no time to hassle with the heat and while I was in the reception area the gentleman in the room next door had no heat either and it was unusually cold for Wilmington and I can't recommend this hotel. ...read more

Traveling as Couple
When checking in there was a homeless person sitting at the front of the hotel eating an apple. We had to unplug the phone in the room, it kept ringing every hour, there would only be static at the other end. We called the front desk there was nothing they could do; they offered to move us to another room at 0200! Come to find out this had been a problem for the past week and nothing was done about it. There must have been a flood in the area; the carpet was coming up near the bathroom. The hot water would only come out at a trickle. We just figured we got what we paid for and will not do this again, next time we will go with a name brand hotel, their web site or call to make reservations. ...read more
