Business Traveler
Wish we could have stayed longer. The BEST view of the arch anywhere, luxuriously large rooms. Didn't have time to use other amenities, but will come bak when we can!

Business Traveler
I had a prima window view of the Gateway Arch and the Mississippi, so I was very impressed even though not all rooms get this view. Only negative remarks are that the elevators can take a while to reach the higher levels, and no refrigerator in the room for restaurant left-overs. ...read more

Everything was very nice about this hotel for the value. The room was very warm and during the middle of the night I finally called the front desk to ask how to turn on the air conditioning in the room. They informed me that the hotel had central heat and no individual controls in the rooms. I explained that it was very hot in my room and they said they were sorry. I opened up a window (which had no screen or other covering, so thank god I didn't have any children with me in my 10th floor room!) The temperature was better, but this is a downtown hotel in a major city! I tried to sleep to the sounds of trucks, cars, sirens, drunks, and trash collectors! I made do, but even a Motel 6 has room air control. I expected a lot more from a 3 star hotel. ...read more

Solo Traveler
The first room I was given had five sources of light in it; four did not work. I had to request another room. The cleaning staff knocked on my door before 9 am to see if I had left. Luckily, they did not interrupt my rest, but they could have. ...read more

Traveling as Couple
Excellent location and nice bar. Room view was amazing of arch, but hotel is not showing its age well. Rooms and hallways in dire need of paint and wallpaper upgrades. Would stay again for location, but would not pay anywhere near as much as I would for the Hyatt right next door. ...read more
