Location was perfect for exploring central park, MOMA and 5th Ave, people were wonderful!

Nothing bad to say.

Hotel was brilliant, staff was wonderful, location couldn't have been better for exploring NYC. Clean, classy and comfortable.

Stayed in part not renovated and 24 hour darkness facing elevator shaft.

Seemed like a nice hotel, but the hotel gave us a room not renovated like most of them and pitch dark 24 hours facing an elevator shaft.

Shabby moldering carpets, scuffed furniture, view of air shaft.

It is an old, run down, shabby facility that is in dire need need of an overhaul. The carpets are worn-out, badly stained, and peeling up in places. Some areas of the hotel smell rank, like mildew and stale cigarette smoke. The back rooms look out into an air shaft. ...read more

Flaking paint on ceiling in bathroom. Only one comfortable chair in the room and it needed to be replaced.
