The Holiday Inn Express is a 1-yr old, modern, clean and no-nonsense hotel located in Midtown NYC, at W 29th St. It is a basic yet practical hotel, with breakfast and Wi-Fi included in the room price.

Front desk was wonderful. He gave us terrific recommendations on travel and shows.

This is a new hotel that is close to Penn Station and Madison Sq. Garden. It was more south than we would have preferred to stay, but if you don't mind walking, it was good. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was OK. The rooms were clean. There is a fitness center in the basement, but we didn't have time to use it.
