Courtyard By Marriott Palm Springs

This was actually the first time I was disappointed in a hotel as well as a Courtyard Marriott. I felt like the property was below the star level. First off, when I checked in, I asked if there were any rooms facing the mountains. She said none were available, I asked her to check again, and she said she found one that was next to the elevator, so we took it. That evening, when we opened up the bed, we found at least 4-5 loose hairs throughout the sheets & pillows. We were disgusted and asked the front desk to allow us to change rooms. This gentleman was kind and immediately moved us to a room 2 doors down (a mountain view). So obviously there were mountain view rooms available, but the first front desk employee told us (maybe instructed to do so) that there were no other rooms. Also, the patio chair was visibly broken, which they quickly replaced once I brought it to their attention, but I felt that it should have been a part of their daily maintenance routine to find that before I did. ...read more

Great for business travelers and families. Not great for singles.

Perfect for my needs!

I have special feelings towards the hotel, since we've stayed there many times with my parents who are no longer with us.

Overall hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. When we checked in, we were told that breakfast is served from 7-10 on weekends and there is a per person charge. During breakfast I had to use the rest room. We needed a hotel near the Palm Springs airport and they accepted our offer. We appreciated the shuttle to the airport. It was a good deal for us.

A very nice hotel which is kept in good condition and is very clean. Good location, plenty of parking and the front desk staff is very friendly.
