First night black bug in bed, second night fly in bed, 3rd night bug in bed.

Holiday Inn Express in Portsmouth, Ohio where I stayed for 3 nights was filled with un-comfortableness due to each night I had to battle with bugs. Wonderful, friendly staff and basic but very clean accommodations.

Can't think of anything.

I would gladly stay here again if visiting Portsmouth. The hotel is conveniently located in a very safe-seeming area; has a warm, helpful staff; the room was updated and very clean.

They had a great breakfast. There were more than enough towels and extra little perks.

The only thing I saw wrong was the light didn't work in desk lap.

We had a great valetines. I realy wish the pool was open 24 hours. We ate dinner out and be time we got back it was 8:30 and we only got to swim till 10:00. My husband and I really loved it and are thinking of taking our kids there for a close to home mini vacation. ...read more

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but was okay.

Location close to relatives.

Bathroom: exhaust fan and tub drain didn't work.

We've stayed at this hotel many times, since it was built. Typical for an older Holiday Inn Express, not perfect, but acceptable.

It was quiet, comfortable and an overall enjoyable experience.

The view of the dirt hill out our window.

The place was lovely, we enjoyed ourselves, and it was nice that the hotel was directly on the highway. This made it easily accessible.

The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.

When housekeeping cleaned them through away, instead of taking to the front desk, some magazines left in the room for my business.

The hotel was very clean and the front desk people were very helpful, but the housekeeping lady did not even remember throwing away something from my room.
