Great location for a great NYC price.

Overall a good hotel, great location and very friendly staff. The price was very high for the size of the room, but it made up for it with it's location. Good economy accommodations.

Charming historic exterior. The inside lobby is pleasant and cozy since it's cut up into two different rooms separated by the foyer where the front desk is located w/exceptionally kind and helpful concierge. The small historic elevator also has a very helpful and cheerful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I'd definitely book a room here again. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay that started with the friendly & accommodating staff. No hassles upon check-in. Since I booked early, my room was available in the morning so the staff offered we may check-in early to unload our luggages in our room so we were able to have an early pleasant morning sightseeing in New York. ...read more

This hotel is nice and clean and located in a nice good neighborhood. Employees are very friendly, only problem was getting use to not having a bathroom in room.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. There was no toilet in the room nor a shower you had to go around the corner to get to both.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming to my friend and I, we were able to check in early and relax instead of waiting exhausted from traveling. the hotel is charming with a hand operated elevator and the rooms are comfortable with crisp white sheets! very clean! ...read more
