Nice hotel with a 24-hour Denny's right next door. Perfect.
Very little not to like.

The hotel is in an excellent location near I-94. It is very clean. There is a 24-hour Denny's adjacent to it. The service was prompt, friendly and professional. Decent breakfast fare.

Close to freeway.
Rude management, dirty pool.

Not a good choice! Dirty socks found under the bed, broken tiles in the pool area, manager very rude and did not care about our complaints.

The location was great. We were there to go to Lake Michigan. It is just a short drive away.

When we arrived, the 2 clerks were arguing with one another. The covering on the bathroom walls were peeling up from the bottom. Three light bulbs were burned out, one by the door, two over the bed. I would not stay there again, nor recommend it anyone. I was very dissatisfied, wished we were staying somewhere other than "Days Inn" in Portage Inn. The front desk help was not friendly. The room keys of several people did not work. The key access to the door closest to my room was broken and I had to park and walk a long way to get to my room. The other door key access did not work the first night. ...read more

Location was very easy access to interstate. Signage was excellent after dark.
The location of the room was confusing to get too, but that may have been due to the renovation.

This hotel is undergoing renovation which currently impacted the public areas of the continental breakfast area and hotel lobby, making the above questions related to these areas inapplicable. When the renovation is completed I am certain that these areas will be fine. ...read more
