This modern 3-star hotel is located in the natural park of Monte do Bom Jesus and has a view of the beautiful mountains of Serra do Gerês. The hotel has 53 rooms, all with modern amenities. Our guests can make use of an ample bar, outdoor cafe with panoramic view, reading rooms, games room and rooms for the organisation of events.

Food & Beverage
The Panoramic Restaurant (located 150 metres away in Hotel do Elevador) has capacity for 120 people. The restaurant presents a pleasant panoramic view of the city of Braga. It offers a traditional regional kitchen. The diversity of the natural landscape and the influences received during centuries of other peoples are elements that explain the multiplicity of the gastronomic specialties: potato and cabbage broth and bread made from maize, roast pork, the cod, the octopus and the trout, the chicken rice " pica no chão" and the duck rice, the kid and the baked heifer, the ham and the frying pans of Braga, are some of the excellent examples. The lobby bar is open until midnight with a perfect atmosphere for a pleasant night.

Area Information
Geres National Park (30 km) - Peneda-Geres is of particular note because it is the only National Park in existence in Portugal. Founded in 1971, it covers an area of 72,000 hectares and has an extraordinary diversity of climate and scenery, comprising the transition zone between the Mediterranean and Euro-Siberian regions. Because of this, flora and fauna are found that are rare or non existent in other parts of the country. Human occupation dates back 7,000 years and Megalithic, Celtic and Roman monuments are found frequently. Bom Jesus Natural Park - Close to Bom Jesus church, you can see the view from Gerês and Soajo Mountains to Esposende and Viana´s beaches. In this place, the architecture, with different shapes and styles, with the stairs, chapels, and the Bom Jesus church in Neoclassical style (beginning of 19th century). Inside the temple, there is a Latin cross shape, and it's worth a visit. You must also visit the lifts, powered by water. Sameiro Sanctuarie (2 km)- Sameiro was built in 1870 and it is a place of the Marian cult. Braga Historical Centre (5 km) - The main cathedral was built in the 12th century. Biscainhos Museum and Garden, Coimbras Chapel and House original temple of the 16th century, Towers and arches of the Braga Castel, Bishop's Palace and Stª Bárbara Garden are some of the places that we suggest.
