Both "business and leisure travelers" appreciate this "elegant" boutique hotel set in a "turn-of-the-century building" "in the center of town", a "great" staff, varied dining and "reasonable rates" make up for the "lack of some amenities that its big-chain competitors" have (though it's "a nice break" from them).

Beautiful hotel, very clean, wonderful staff that made great recommendations for food, etc.
Valet parking is a little expensive, but convenient.

My husband and I had a great time at this hotel, the staff made some wonderful recommendations for restaurants, places to go in Providence, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were super comfortable. The bathrooms were immaculate. Loved the shower head. Didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but it looked very nice. The in room movie rentals were a bit expensive $13.95 for a regular movie. ...read more

Room was well thought out and very comfortable, short distance to several
restaurants.
Room was a little small, fine for business, but families with kids would be tight fit.

Hotel staff was very polite and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and affordable for the luxury of it.
There were little options for parking so valet is the only real way to go which is fine but
it costs
additional fee of 25 dollars.

Good location. Great restaurant, lobby, and room.
Bed was very soft. Street noise was significant. I didin't sleep well and woke with a back ache.

Very gool looking lobby, restaurant and room. Food was good and staff top notch. The bed was very soft and the room was above an alley. As a result, I didn't sleep well and woke with a back ache.

The Hotel Providence staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished.
The hotel is located across from a homeless shelter/soup kitchen. The homeless were begging and scared my 10 year old daughter.

The interior of the hotel including the lobby and rooms were nicely furnished. Service was friendly and helpful. I would not want to stay there again due to the hotel's location. Although it is a short walk to the convention center where we were attending an event, it is located across the street from a homeless shelter or soup kitchen. The homeless people getting assistance there approached my 10 year-old daughter and I, begging for money. I was uncomfortable with this and it scared my daughter. ...read more

Helpful and friendly staff.
Valet parking is the only parking option. $24 per day.

Very charming hotel, beautiful decor, nice restaurant, confortable, clean and spacious rooms, helpful and friendly staff. On the down side: lateral rooms face a wall which makes them really dark even during sunny days. The only parking option is a very pricey valet parking service ($24/day) and internet access is not wireless nor high speed. ...read more
