Popular "for both business and leisure" travelers thanks to its "fantastic location" just over a "pedestrian bridge" from the convention center and an "easy walk" to many "historic" sites, this "hospitable", "good-value" lodging also earns props for its "silent" rooms and mostly "friendly service"; if the in-house dining options don't win many accolades, at least there are "great restaurants in the adjacent mall."

Had a list of restaurants that were open on thanksgiving.

Nice hotel, but the room decor was a bit drab. There were no extras in the room, such as bathrobes, bathroom toiletries. Internet was extra.

Very conveniently located, especially convenient to the Mall.

Parking was expensive.

Very helpful and friendly staff.

Hard to keep the room cool with unusually warm fall days.

Excellent front desk and bell staff. Helpful and friendly despite crowd at check-in due to a convention next door. Roving management staff were engaging and helpful - nice touch!

Beautiful lobby, loved the Skywalk, connection to the Providence Place Mall.

Problem getting into the first room they assigned, dragged their feet about upgrading.

This hotel appears to be suffering from a staff that cannot handle the large size of the hotel. I definitely detected an attitude from management about upgrading us to a better room, when our room keys would not open the room that was assigned at first (a situation some of the staff already knew about. The desk clerk asked if we would be remaining in our room (a two night stay), implying that we could contact hotel security to let us in the (original) room when necessary.
