It was clean the staff was very helpful, patient, and friendly.
It's in a bad area. Its in the ghetto.

There's nothing wrong with the building nor the staff. What is wrong is that its in the ghetto. Why would people taking a vacation want to risk their stay in the ghetto?

Room was clean, liked the jacuzzi, didn't expect that and refrigerator came in handy.
Parking was a little tight.

Hotel is in tight quarters. Parking was tight
but the room was more than
I expected.

It was a place to stay.
Neighborhood didn't appear safe and the rooms weren't clean. The continental breakfast food was stale and tasteless.

It was a very basic hotel which was fine except for the concerns of our safety. I was not familiar with the area and did not see any concerns about the neighborhood. We were put in a basement room with a small window at the ceiling so we were concerned about getting out in the event of a fire. We had to climb on furniture to reach the window and we tried to get the windows open but were obvious that there would be no way out for a large adult. The rooms were not dirty but I would not describe them as clean. ...read more

The room was clean.
It had no parking.

The hotel was okay as a hotel. Room was clean. The continental breakfast was sparse but what was there was good. The beds were comfortable. However one in our party was in a wheelchair and the hotel space was limited. ...read more

Jacuzzi room.
Unfriendly staff.

Overall stay was ok. The hotel isn't close to anything of interest and the staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. There is a slight curb leading into the bathroom which I kept hitting my toes on. The room was clean and quiet and was worth my money and was what I expected from a budget hotel. The in room Jacuzzi was nice. ...read more

Very clean and nice TV.
No coffee maker in the room!

This hotel was way more than I expected for a 1 star hotel. Very clean and the room included a refrigerator and flat panel TV.

The room was a lot bigger than expected, especially for New York.
Parking was way to limited.

I was amazed on the cleanliness and size of the room. Very comfortable bed. Easy to get to hotel. Parking was limited and not the easiest hotel to get lots of luggage into if you have over packed. Hotel staff was friendly and prompt. I will always stay here when going to the city. Only $8.00 cab ride to get to the train to go to Manhattan. ...read more

Friendly staff.

The hotel was in a good part of town. I would certainly stay there when I head back to the area next year.
