"Easy to find", "convenient to all the major highways" and with "lots of restaurants and bars" nearby, this place may "look like an older motel" but it does include "some nice surprises", such as "specialty soaps and a cigar bar", and most guests report that they were "treated well"; it's "way overdue for renovations" (now underway) that are creating "much better" rooms with "wonderful beds and pillows."

Beautiful, quiet, soft bed, down comforter, wall temp. control, Nitrogen bath products, plush towels.
This was an excellent hotel. It was a wonderful deal through Priceline. Would definitely recommend it!

I would not stay at this hotel again as it was not a 3-4 star hotel at all.
The staff was completely unprofessional and did not provide quality customer service.
The Double Tree was a renovated Holiday Inn or a Howard Johnson type hotel, and was a 2-2.5 star hotel at best.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The decor was retro, very clean and eye pleasing. They have designated smoking rooms. The hotel was minutes from local casinos.

Could be hard to locate, about 4 blocks from 157.
Staff was very nice, cordial, and efficent. Hotel is kept up very nice. Is off the beaten path a bit (a good thing), as many of the hotels on Hwy 157 are not as nice as this one. Felt more secure being off the beaten path (about 3 or 4 blocks), rather than being right on Hwy 157. ...read more

Nice rooms, comfortable beds and nice bed linens.
Centrally located, very nice rooms and friendly staff - what's not to like when you get a warm cookie upon check in and a great big smile from the desk attendants! Nice welcome after a long drive.
