Area Information
Our hotel is located in the Eifel mountain range in the Rhineland-Palatinate, on part of the Rheinisches Schiefergebirge (literally: Rheinish slate mountains). This ridged, mountainous and mostly forested terrain is bordered to the south-east by the Moselle valley, to the north-east by the River Rhine and to the west by the Ardennes. The highest elevations in the area are of volcanic origin, and the nearby Hohe Acht mountain is 747 metres high.
