The "location, location, location" of this "big" Embarcadero chain link is what sells it say those smitten with the "splendid" views of the bay and the "proximity to public transportation right outside the front door"; if you go in December, you'll find it "beautifully decorated for the holidays" (it puts you "in the spirit"), but anytime of year there's a "superior" staff that's "authentically concerned", "sleek" rooms with "wonderful beds and linens", a "stunning" lobby and a rotating top-floor restaurant; just don't choose it for a romantic retreat, and watch out for "ridiculously expensive parking fees."

Nothing, I love this hotel.
No better location in San Francisco. Right by the BART Station. Walking distance to the water and easy access to anywhere in downtown San Francisco.

My room was not cleaned for three days.
This hotel was abysmal. There was a labor issue and the management staff was doing all of the customer service. They had no patience for the customers and the rooms were not cleaned and the restaurant was closed as no one knew how to staff it. ...read more
