Guy at valet parking shut the door on my husband's hand. Nobody addressed it, and I had to go down myself and speak to them to let them know that if his hand got worse we would have to seek treatment. Wonderfully friendly front desk staff. Corner rooms are spacious. Location is perfect.

4 start hotels should have robes in every room. No wireless internet in rooms.

The Marriott Marquis SF is a great hotel for either business or pleasure. Location is close to many points of interest and is one block from BART and MUNI making access to the entire bay area possible. Rooms are comfy, albeit a tad generic. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. One tip, if you are not an early riser, especially on Sunday, make sure you do not get a room on the East side of the building over looking the Catholic church. The bell is quite loud and will wake you up. The concierge desk is very knowledgeable, especially about the SF restaurant scene. ...read more

Liked everything.

Well-staffed, well-located, luxurious bed, fantastic panoramic views from our 20th story corner room, very friendly and helpful staff.
