Location near Atlantic City but not in the city.
Bathroom sink did not drain properly.

Enjoyable stay. Will probably go there again.

Fresh cookies at the front desk throughout the day.
Continental breakfast wasn't all that.

Hotel was great.

The beach and location.
One of the front desk guys was quite rude.

Considering the pricing in the area, this hotel was a great value, especially because of the location. It has it's own beach and offers shuttles to nearby Atlantic City. Most of the staff members were friendly and extrememly helpful, except one guy at the front desk who was very rude. The other guy I spoke with at the front desk was great and even switched us to a room with a larger bed so my husband and I didn't have to sleep separately. The downside was the beds are very small, even with the upgrade, as are the rooms themselves. The window leaked and there were water stains on the ceiling, but the rest of the room was not bad. We figured the leakage came from the torrential downpour outside and was easily cleaned up. ...read more

Clean rooms, new furnishings, comfy beds, nice bay & mini beach out back
nothing really

We stayed here for 2 nights and then stayed for a 3rd night at the Chelsea so that we could be close to Boardwalk Hall. (We were there for the weekend for a concert). After leaving the Baymont to stay at the Chelsea we wished we had never left. The other hotels around the Baymont were pretty shady and the general surrounding area wasn't somewhere I would want to go walking by myself. But the hotel itself is great! The lobby has all sorts of knick-knacks and collectibles and the staff at the front desk, while busy, were friendly and helpful. The rooms look newly renovated, with new beds and furnishings. The beds were really comfy and the A/C was nice and cold -- needless to say we slept really well! Was really surprised and impressed at how clean everything was. Out back there is the bay and a little miniature beach. It is very cute! You can watch wind-surfers on the bay and I think you can try it yourself, although we didn't. The hotel has a shuttle to and from the Casinos/Boardwalk/The Walk. I think it is $7 one way and $14 roundtrip during the week, but Fri, Sat, and Sun it is free! Awesome! It departs at certain times but when you're ready to come back you just call and someone comes to get you. Every one of the drivers we had were super friendly and talkative and suggested all sorts of fun things to do. The Tropicana also has a shuttle bus that stops here, it is $20 roundtrip but when you get there they give you $30 in credits to gamble, pretty good deal! Overall I loved this hotel and the next time I go to Atlantic City I will definitely stay here. ...read more

The friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room I was very pleased.

Great hotel, I bid on the room and the price I bid was really low, so I was very surprised that it as accepted, being familiar with Atlantic City in August I truly thought that I was gonna be staying in a shabby rundown motel. Well when I pulled up to the hotel and stepped foot in the lobby I was impressed, once I checked in went to my room I was ecstatic, clean and bright bedding, roomy bathroom. I will stay here again. ...read more

For the area, very nice place.
Room needed a handyman for a couple of places.

I really did like this hotel. The surrounding hotel\motel\Inns were horrible, so seeing the Beaumont was nice to the eyes. Towels were kinda scratchy.

It was moderately-priced, clean, and
good location.
The shuttle bus to the casinos was too infrequent.

The hotel was very nice, what I would expect from a 'former' Hampton Inn. The staff was friendly and courteous. The continental breakfast was pretty good, though a little limited. I think it was definitely a good value for the money. Our room overlooked the beach. The beach area was actually a lot nicer than I had expected. This was our first time using Priceline, so my expectations were not very high. This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! ...read more

Extremely pleasant and professional staff. At check-in, the man at the desk was absolutely outstanding. What a great visit.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The property that the hotel sits on is beautiful. Right on the edge of the bay you can look out at Atlantic City in the distance. You are close enough to get to the sites and sounds quickly, and far enough away to relax with out the hassle. The front desk staff was excellent. Seeing the bay, we wanted to be on the bay side of the hotel, the desk staff made it happen. What a great trip! The room we had was large and clean, and the amenities in the room were numerous. We wanna do it again!!! ...read more

The hotel was close to the boardwalk/casinos.
The rooms were really small and they do not offer any suites or bigger rooms.
