Unclean sheets & bugs.

The breakfast at this hotel was fabulous. I love the fact that they had a wide variety and plenty of each item. The hotel had a pool, which I enjoyed, but it looked like it really needed to be cleaned. The water was kind of green. The room was tidy, but we did find some beetles in the room each day. Also, there were some sheets on the beds that weren't changed from the previous customers. The staff was very nice and helpful though. The room had significant maintenance issues, backed into the interstate, and had thin walls allowing for the passage of noise between rooms.

Clean room, nice staff, close to Starve Rock State Park.
Hot tub had green algae, pool water was not clear at all, cloudy.

We are grandparents who brought an 8 yr. old girl and a 5 yr. old boy. They had a great time. Loved the pool, the room and breakfast. Our room was on the exit ramp on I 80. We could almost touch the exit sign out our window. Close to the state parks, which is why we were in the area. ...read more
