Super 8 Normal/Bloomington Area

Would never stay there again. Paper thin walls. Crappy pillows. Hardly slept a wink. Clean, but not comfy.

This was fine for a quick overnight stay, but it didn't have any amenities.

As for an extra pillow as I had surgery recently and need a prop for my leg. No extra pillows. Check in was fast and efficient. Didn't see any hotel personnel after that except when we asked for the pillow. Drain in sink was slow probably stopped up. ...read more

The hotel is located on the northside of Normal, and just down the street from Illinois State University. That made it convenient for me and it was near lots of eating establishments. The hotel was quiet and a good value, with free wireless internet and lots of cable channels. I will definitely stay there when I return to Normal, IL. ...read more

In zero degree temperatures outdoors, my hotel room heater did not work properly. The bathroom had also not been cleaned as there were dirty rags left behind. Lastly, the two of the easily accessible outlets in the room did not work. When I notified the manager, she was very apathetic. The wireless internet connection speed fluctuated too much (anywhere from 2 Mbps to 54 Mbps) with most of the time it was around 5. Not what I expected.
