Located "far up the Strip", this "Egyptian-themed" establishment is "arguably one of Vegas' most impressive hotels", with "slanted-wall rooms" (in the pyramid section), "funky diagonally inclined elevators architecturally" and a "light that shines from the top" at night; alas, all the other amenities are "rather average" (except for the "impressive spa") and service is "nothing special", so most say it's "amusing for a one-night stay" only, unless you're traveling en famille (pricewise, it's a "pretty good deal").

The spa was glorious!
The heat didn't work (38 degrees in Vegas!).

The hotel was conveniently located.
Did not like finding out about the additional resort tax that was added on at check-in.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located, but I don't like finding out about hidden fees, such as the resort tax, at check in. The clerk was not very helpful in explaining the tax either.

Convenient to the airport.
Hotel is starting a lot, look dumpy.

This hotel is looking worn. Still pretty cheap rooms though. Elevators were slow.

Check-in took 20 minutes of standing in line. Ridiculous!

Check-in took 20 minutes of standing in line, and we got there when it wasn't busy - the line snaked around almost every time I walked past. Ridiculous!

Very interesting and fun environment.
The room was absolutely ghetto.

If you are not going to spend any time in the room itself then this would probably be a good value. I'm sure they have many different types of rooms but the one I was in was very low end. The hotel overall was fun but the room was comparable to the motel 6. ...read more

I did not like anything about it.
Customer service, rooms, basically everything.

My worst experience in Vegas, I left the hotel one day early, because I hated everything in there.

Nothing.
Room service food left outside for 24 hours.

Poor bedding, unfriendly staff, no tea/coffee making facilities ( ensures you have to spend money at Starbucks/ Meccas). Australians are not accustomed to this practice in a 4 star hotel.

Great night club.
Not 4 star quality.

It was OK. Room could use some updating. Great night club.
