Business Traveler
New York is geared for the younger crowd - lots of activities and crowded, noisy bars. The rooms were very nice, and not much noise in the hallways. It was always busy there, which is fun.

Solo Traveler
New York New York is definitely not a get-a-way hotel. It's more like a trip to New York with noise, smoke, bars, roller coaster outside of my window and unappealing lighting. I thought the facility in general is showing it's age and can use some updating and remodeling. I didn't like the low lighting in the bathroom or the show/tub/shower enclosure. Traveling as Couple
This is actually quite a nice hotel in a busy section of the Las Vegas strip. Room was attractive, with a nice king-size bed and tile bathroom. The big gripe I have against this room is that there was a very noticeable sound in the room that I'm pretty sure was due to a malfunctioning fluorescent light that was attached to a shared wall with our room. It was quite loud and annoying. I called the customer service people and they didn't promise to come look at the light or disconnect it to make the buzz away. All they said was that they could relocate us to another floor. The first day I just was so sure they could fix the sound problem I thought it would be more of an annoyance to pack up everything and move to another room on another floor. However, it never got fixed, not even on our second day. So if anyone on the hotel staff is reading this, just know that somebody dropped the ball. ...read more

Hotel itself seemed older. Perhaps it was because we chose to stay in the most economic room. Fixtures and bedding were outdated. Needs remodel.

Overall, very good experience and centrally located. The room upgrade (good experience) canceled out the $10 extra resort fee (poor experience). Would recommend it.
