Pet friendly and was the mid way point to our destination.

Place for pet to use the restroom, had to walk down the block but wasn't to much of a hassle.

Very friendly staff, excellent bedding, recently painted and
inexpensive.

Slightly noisy next to road but not too bad.

We needed an inexpensive overnight as we traveled - did not need frills. The Vagabond (aka America's Best Value) was excellent! Very nice staff, recently painted/decorated room and bedding that rivaled a luxury hotel! This was an unexpected treat! It was fine for our family - cheaper than other newer hotels in Hays but met our needs very well!
