Family with Young Children
Rooms were fairly small, twin beds even smaller. Good breakfast. Hotel right in historic area, great location.

It was welcoming and in a good location. Wine & cheese reception in lobby was good for meeting other guests who were traveling from different places

Staff was very nice and the cheese and wine tasting in the evening made for a wonderful transition to an evening in Savannah.

and carpets, smelled of mildew, etc.
Rooms were small and seemed as if they needed a modernization - definitely not 4 star worthy. Very old AC/heating systems, TV's etc. Smell of mildew/decay pervaded the whole hotel. Full breakfast wasn't that full, wine/cheese events though fun were not of a great quality. Great location and friendly staff! Staybridge just 1 block away offers more bang for the buck. ...read more

The reception desk staff was friendly & efficient. The lobby very welcoming & well used. The breakfast was below standard of the hotel & the staff like disinterested robots.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who might be visiting the Savannah area. The hotel was very nice, and the staff was friendly & courteous, & very helpful in suggesting where to eat.

Planters Inn is a upscale establishment, that focuses on every detail to make your stay one of comfort. Centrally located, very close to all that Savannah has to offer.
