Housekeeping was inadequate.

The hotel was very crowded. We had a nice bed, a poor view, and a cold room. There was a dirty towel on the floor when we arrived, I notified the concierge about it, she told me to call housekeeping. I did, housekeeping said they would send somebody up, they didn't. The towel was laying next to the air vent, with our heat and air blowing across it, grossing me out, so I placed it outside the room. It was still there in the morning. ...read more

I enjoyed the views and the workers and cleanliness.
No pool.

This is a great hotel with a magnificent view of the magnificent mile. Close to trains and right on the river. This is a beautiful hotel and worth every penny!

Quality, and staff is excellent.
On this stay only, the room was not up to their standards.

The room smelled like someone had smoked in it and the bed lights did not work making the entire room dark, I casually mentioned this to the desk upon checking out and they immediately took steps to rectify it and compensate me for it, they were excellent and far beyond my expectations, I will definitely go back there. ...read more

Parts of the public spaces were being renovated during our stay. Our room was near the elevators.
