"Tucked away" "on the McDonald's corporate campus", "surrounded by woods, ponds" and "nature trails", this "secluded" "contemporary lodge" boasts a "modern design" and "a wonderful atmosphere for romance, business or family travel"; "up-to-date rooms" feature "MP3-player alarm clocks", "flat-screen TVs" and "new, comfortable mattresses", while the "attractive common spaces" are outfitted with "warm fireplaces" and McDonald's memorabilia, and overseen by a "responsive" staff; P.S. get good directions, as it's "difficult to find."

Spacious room with comfortable beds.
I do not like to be charged for the fitness room and for Wi-Fi connections.
Rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. However an upscale hotel should not need to charge for the fitness room and for Wi-Fi hookup in the room.

The room was very modern.
Parking was inconvenient and the food was too expensive.
The grounds are beautiful as well as the pool and the rooms are very modern. The parking is not convenient even though they have valet parking,

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
There was mildew in my shower area. There was only one valet/bellman on duty when we arrived on Friday night so we had to handle our bags ourselves.

Park-like location with lake & trails.
Parking was a distant from the entrance.
Lovely setting for this hotel. We enjoyed walking through the grounds observing the autumn colors. The facility was especially nice in the evening as warm, glowing fires were burning in stone fireplaces in the lobby and lounge areas. The lights of the hotel danced in the reflections off of the lake. Nice western suburban location. 10 minutes from Oak Park and Frank Lloyd Wright's home/museum.
