Traveling as Couple
It is good for a inexpensive stay in the nearby DC area. It met all my needs and small refrigerator in the room. The room was neat and clean.

Traveling as Couple
Just a place to sleep. Clean enough. But not for a romantic get away. Nothing around it to do. Close to highway. Great place to stay if you are traveling and need to rest overnight.

Family with Teens
Called for directions, staff didn't speak English good enough to assist. Electronic keys didn't work, had to switch rooms, still only worked 50/50. no elevator. Room air conditioner didn't work properly, bed were small. Continental breakfast was poor, didn't eat. Asked for roll away bed and was told no. Senior Traveler
Completely adequate! Decent location. Nice staff. Could use some updates and a thorough cleaning. Someone needs to use the vacuum attachment and get into the corners and crevasse of the rooms and the hallways. Not a bad hotel for the price. The continental breakfast could be better if only they could get a new waffle maker. The one they are using now has been beaten to death. We have stayed at this hotel about three or four times over a one year period and the waffle maker has never worked right. Finally, creating a more secured environment might heighten the hotel's appeal.

In addition, we found the staff extremely reserved and at best, unhelpful. Lastly, the location of the hotel was convenient to a variety of things but it didn't seem to be a very safe location.

Traveling as Couple
The carpet in our room was threadbare and wrinkled and dirty. I have a bad back and when I talked to the front desk, I asked for a room where I would not have to carry my bags up stairs or go a long distance to the room. The clerk gave me a room as far away from the stairs as he could. I did ask for a smoking room, but I think that something closer could have been found. I do not think that the clerk understands English. The whole place seemed to be dirty with young kids hanging around the lobby and stairways.
