Howard Johnson - Princeton/Lawrenceville

I was traveling with my girlfriend and we just needed an affordable place to sleep. For my price I really didn't expect much and with some of the stories I heard about getting rooms in horrible conditions, well you won't find that here. The halls were clean, the check-in area was clean and the room was perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Overall, the staff was attentive and helpful. The room was very roomy, I did not feel cramped. I liked the fact it had a small refrigerator cause I needed to bring some special food.

We woke at 2:30 am to our smoke detector beeping, when we called the front desk we were told that there was no one to come to replace the battery so we were to come down to the office, get a battery and replace it ourselves. My husband stood on the side of the bed and took the smoke detector off the electric wires were not even attached and you needed a screw driver to remove the battery.
