Budget Inn Wentzville

Unless you are extremely tired and just want and place to sleep, stay away from this hotel. The staff speak very poor English, The rooms are located too close to the pool so when the kids are playing in the pool area you hear them in your room. The water in the pool is green. This hotel could have been better for the price. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. However, the toilet was broke, the fixtures outdated and the carpet stained. The pool that was indoors was green. The person who greeted us and checked us in was very friendly. ...read more

They didn't have enough towels, refrigerator did not work, and toilet was loose. Air conditioner was missing parts. Microwave was in poor condition. They stated they were remodeling but that will be hard to confirm. They have the carpeting off the hallways to the rooms. Looks like it was a nice hotel when it was new but it is very, very old now.

We thought that the hotel had recently changed hands and was in the process of remodeling. There was no carpeting in the halls; the baseboard in our room was missing in places. In the breakfast room there was large furniture boxes unopened in a corner. The hotel wasn't really dirty; it just looked half finished. There was no sign outside advising customers to prdon our mss as some have had where I have been. That would have helped.

The hotel exceeded our expectations for the price. The arrangement of rooms around the pool was a nice addition. The rooms were quiet and clean.

The hotel was fairly clean, the front desk worker was very hard to understand his english.
