Traveling as Couple
My favorite thing about this hotel is that check out is at noon giving us plenty of time to get everything rounded up. This time I was up early enough to eat the continental breakfast, which by the way was excellent. They had a wide variety of choices, sausage eggs, yogurt, and cold cereal. Overall I thought that the hotel was very nice, clean and the beds were very comfortable. I thought that the breakfast was definitely a step up from your everyday continental breakfast. The main complaint I have is that we could hear everything in the lobby because of the location of our room, such as every time someone came in or out of the front door. The staff was courteous and efficient. it is apparent that they rent the facility/pool for birthdays and such. There were fat, wet, people taking their first bath this week cruising the halls. The hotel needs better cleaning, new beds and pillows, cleaner sheets. The rooms (both non-smoking) had the stale odor of dirty bodies. We will probably not stay there again. ...read more

We were pleased it was close to the University. We used the discount at Applebee's restaurant. The spa was broken and that was very disappointing after 8 hours of driving. The pool was closed early by 10 pm. For adults only I think this could be extended to midnight. ...read more

The hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious, nice furniture, comfortable bed, well decorated. I thought the location was going to be a factor, but in reality it was worth the extra min drive to stay at a nicer place. ...read more
