Opened in 1881, the hotel resides on the sunny side of the "Burgberg" (castle hill) in Meissen, in an absolutely quiet location. Here you have a magnificent view to the Elbe river, the porcelain- and wine city Meissen and the wine growing area.

The restaurant "Bottgerstube" with panoramic view spoils you with regional and international specialities accompanied by an excellent Saxon wine. Lovers of the "Vienna café house style" are not only treated with sweet creations from our own patisserie, but also with a fantastic view to the Elbe river valley and the town Meissen.In the evening we serve hearty meals in our rustic "Burggrafenstube" parlour.
