Worthington Inn Magnuson Hotel

I enjoyed my stay with the Worthington Inn in Charleston. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and had great food.

The hotel looked nice on the outside. The area where you check-in and the restaurant attached to it looked very nice. It looked upscale, and the staff was friendly. The room itself looked like any typical hotel room. It had a floral decor. The wall was peeling a little bit, and there was a small hole in the bedspread. Also the remote control did not work, but overall the hotel was a lot better than I expected it to be. I liked the sink and the shower head had great water pressure. Definitely no frills. Needs an upgrade. Furnishings falling apart, some things not working properly. If all you want is a place to lay your head, this hotel may meet your needs. I didn't like it at all. ...read more

After being told there are rifrig and micro in room there were none even after asking. The internet didn't work. I planned on a week long stay and after two nights there I checked out and into a nicer hotel. Plenty of in room entertainment if you call killing bugs entertainment. I would not recommend this place to an enemy let alone a friend. ...read more

Our expectations were not high considering we reserved a 2 star hotel but this was an awful experience. We had stayed in the area at other 2 star hotels which were clean and up to date.
