"Live trees, a waterfall and bridges" make the four-story lobby of this "solid" Old Greenwich hotel "feel like a botanical garden", while the "friendly" staff, "fabulous weekend brunch" and full-service spa are further pluses; but even though it's one of the "best places to stay in the area", it "needs an overhaul" say critics who complain it's "not what you'd expect in this affluent" neighborhood.

The hotel shop was a little on the expensive but that's expected.

Room was very clean and very comfortable. Small refrigerator in the room was convenient.

The gym and whirlpool.

It was very noisy. I only got 3 hours sleep due to all the noise.

For the price I paid for a room I expected more. At least a good night sleep. My room was on the second floor by the elevator and I heard all the party noise until 3 am.
