A "convenient" location within walking distance to "lots of sites" and next to the Metro Link/Light Rail system, an indoor heated pool (the "best in St. Louis") and solid rooms appeal to some fans of this chain outpost; but others say it "needs a face-lift" and probably some better dining.

Wonderful hotel and friendly staff.
Parking at the hotel is too expensive.
While this is a very nice hotel and well worth the price, the weekend we stayed at the hotel coincided with some type of alternative lifestyle convention. We were never provided the name of the convention, but suffice it to say that it was not a family-friendly environment. Every woman was dressed very scantily in black, usually black leather, and their floors upper 5 floors at the hotel were guarded and off limits to all other hotel patrons. ...read more
