The Bornkampsweg bus stop is just 500 metres away and the Diebsteich S-Bahn (city rail) station is just 13 minutes away on foot.The alternative district of Sternschanze can be reached within 15 minutes by bus. The famous entertainment on offer on the Reeperbahn can be reached within 8 minutes by S-Bahn (city rail).The city centre can be reached within 12 minutes by either bus or train - take the train to Dammtor or the central train station, or take the more scenic route by bus, and reach Axel-Springer-Platz, just behind the centre of the Old Town's shopping boulevards.The harbour can also be reached quickly and easily from Diebsteich station, with the S3 line bringing you into Landungsbrücken in just 10 minutes.In the nearby Neue Flora theatre, which is just 5 minutes away by bus, you can see famous musical shows.

Rooms are quite modern, nice bathroom.

Location is very bad, at a busy street, outside the hotel.

The rooms are OK. Staff is young and not very professional. The location is bad outside the city at a main street.

Good beds, free parking in the side streets.

Location next to busy street, German standard hotel max 2.5 stars.

The hotel faced at a busy street and was far away from Hamburg city (public transport available nearby) or Altona even they call themselves NH-Altona. The rooms were quite decent German hotel standard. No extras, no frills. However good NH beds! I disagree that this hotel was 4*, I'd rate them 2.5-3* only. ...read more
