Lobby was very well appointed and attractive.
Our room and the elevator were very small.

It was not what I expected but it was adequate for our short stay in New York. Our room and bathroom were very small. I assume that they have larger rooms, but we requested the cheapest room with one bed. It may be worth the extra dollars to upgrade to a two bed room. ...read more

Front desk was very helpful and friendly.
Room was very small and there were no vending machines.

Good for the price and if you are alone, planning trip back with my wife but will not be staying at the Mayfair. No way two people could stay in their double rooms.

Scalding hot water, no insulation from street noise, and claustrophobic.

So sad and dismal that I can't ever imagine this building was new. Carpet seemed as if it had been installed used. No Wi-Fi.
