Eastgate Tower Hotel

This is the second time I've stayed here, the first time I was satisfied, the room was 1/4 of size of the one I stayed in this week. We enjoyed staying at this hotel because of the great location near Grand Central Station. However, even though the room was very large, it is pretty old and warn-out. Also, we had to call to have towels brought to our room because there were none of any sort in the bathroom or the kitchen. ...read more

Basically, I don't like this hotel.

Room was larger than expected. A little on the older side for decor, but it was comfortable enough. Delay at check in because their server was down, but they said this had never happened before. Worst part was that they did not mention up front that internet was nearly $14, so that was a bitter surprise at check out. ...read more

Very good hotel for the money, staff friendly and helpful. More amenities then you'd normally find in NYC.

It's a great deal for the money in Manhattan. It's close enough to Grand Central to get you anywhere, although we walked everywhere. Safe area. You get what you pay for. Spending my own money, I would return. ...read more
