Old furnitures in the room, this hotel needs to be renewed; no electrical plug available for laptops; room's bar empty; restaurant for breakfast is outside main building.

The staff was really nice and helpful.

It wasn't very clean.

The hotel was OK for the price and had a shuttle service to downtown which was nice but it was not very clean or modern.

Very noisy, no internet, no hot tub, no breakfast.

Cheap hotel, not romantic at all, the rooms are outdated, no internet available except in the lobby area. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Chicago close to downtown, this is your hotel. Don't expect a nice hotel though. ...read more

Easy to find good temperature in room, nicely scented soap, 4 blocks from bus line buy advance CTA day pass.

The bed was on its way to shot, but was still comfy, vending machine wouldn't take coins or bills.

Nice for a one night stay, but not convenient enough for what I went there for.

Location was close to U Chicago.

It was shabby, worn out, and there were grotesque bathrooms.

Location is near the lake and U Chicago are the only pluses for this property. It is in desperate need of updating. The rooms were not unclean, but you didn't really want to touch anything, including the carpeting, bedspreads or anything in the bathroom. The tub didn't drain after showers for several minutes and there were gaping holes in the ceiling tiles. Overall just an uncomfortable place, and not worth the convenience. ...read more
