Traveling as Couple
I contacted the hotel in advance to request a handicap accessible room. I was told I was put down for a handicap accessible room. We were put on the 3rd floor in a non-handicap accessible room I could not use my walker in the restroom. I cannot climb stairs. If there had been a fire I would have had to jump out the window from three flights up. Not a comfortable feeling. The distance from the room to the handicap accessible parking space was too far. Common areas were too small to handle the amount of children staying at the hotel. Hotel was understaffed and breakfast area Attendant needed help and was wearing thongs on her feet. A guest was barefoot in the breakfast area and being rude to the breakfast attendant and I had to point that out to the front desk. A hold without my permission was placed on my card and not released for 5 days overdrawing my account. General manager was rude, talked down to me, & refused his bosses phone number or name. ...read more

This was by far the best stop on our trip, and ironically the cheapest. Very nice staff, clean, fresh-smelling throughout. The beds are WONDERFUL: clean and fresh, very comfortable, lots of comfy pillows. It was also very quiet! Pool was nice, though we didn't use it this trip. Also close to a mall and many restaurants. All in all a great stay! ...read more

We ran out of juice that we use to mix in with my son's medicine. The staff opened up the morning breakfast room, unlocked the machine that had the juice, and got a cup of apple juice for me to use for my son that night. We pulled into the hotel at 7 p.m. after a long day of driving. We had not realized we were out of juice until we were unpacked and back from dinner at the restaurant next door. The last thing we wanted to do was to drive another foot to get to a convenience store to buy juice. That the staff made an exception and got juice for my son was a simple matter, but it earned my respect and appreciation. We'll be using this chain the next time we're on a long road trip!
