Towneplace Suites By Marriott Clearwater

Location was excellent, able to get from point A to point B with no problems, friendly, clean, all a plus, will be going back to Clearwater soon and hope to return to same location.

As a mother of four, it's nice to get away for a little. This hotel was absolutely perfect for that. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and comfort and I don't have a single complaint about this hotel. This hotel is good for families and business travelers as well. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, in good central location, very clean, nicely decorated. Room had adequate kitchen and utensils for limited cooking. Free breakfast is very small but grabs a box of cereal and milk and stays in your room and eat in your jimmies! Staff was extra pleasant. No bad smells, no bugs, no complaints except bed was not very comfortable for 2 people as it was too soft and floppy. I will stay again and have passed recommendation on already. Nice, clean, convenient to ballpark & beaches. Very helpful & friendly staff.

Breakfast was a little skimpy.

When we arrived the staff was welcoming. We had 2 adults and 2 children. They said the room would fit 4. When we entered the room there was an odor. We realized the room was smaller than I thought it would be, but it seemed to be clean upon inspection of the room. When we looked at the pool it was practically in the parking lot. I guess if you take a picture at the right angle, it looks great but in person not attractive at all, but it was clean. While we were staying there kids were running up and down the hallways tearing the place up and the staff nor there parents did anything about it. Unfortunately these kids were our neighbors in the hotel. Our kids had no part in the cups and salt packets all over the hallway. The exercise room was pretty small but we didn't exercise so no big deal. Back to the room. The pull out sofa bed was not a queen size and it was extremely uncomfortable to the point of asking to borrow couch cushions from an open room to put on the floor. We asked for a roll out bed. They said it was a fire hazard but it does list it in the hotel accommodations list. The stove burners were lop sided so when you cook everything stays to one side of the pan. The room was set up for 3 not 4 people and the bathroom door would not close and lock. I had to put a heavy bed in front of the door to keep it closed. Other than that i dealt with it.
