The Casa de Requeixo is a fine example of the 16th country nobleman house, which was expanded in the next century. Since the beginning, the house belongs to the Vieira e Brito family. The Casa de Requeixo and its surrounding land has always belonged to the same family and today is the property of the Barons of S. Roque. The house is located 19 km from Braga and 20 km from Guimarães. The National Park of Gerês, with its spectacular natural scenery offering ample opportunity for walks and picnics is only 18 km away.
