Family with Young Children
I would not recommend this hotel to even truckers or vagrants. Does not come close to the La Quintas I've had the pleasure of stating at in the past. I hope this example is not an indication of the direction the chain has taken since my last stay stay at a La Quinta. ...read more

Great location to Baylor University and the freeway, made it very accessible for my son - Student at Baylor and for myself going to events at Baylor.

Not a clean place. The grounds were covered with trash. At the broken back door entrance. Ther was trash can that hadn't been emptied in 3 days. i told the staff/mgr?, he blame the house keepers, but it was finally emptied. By the way I had to extend my stay 2 additional days, because the availability rooms at other motels were nill because of hurricane Ike. I will not go back. ...read more

We got the hotel because we needed to evacuate for Hurricane Ike. It was the best that we could get without going over budget.

Traveling as Couple
We were then placed in a sub-standard room, bathtub stopped up, AC didn't work well, etc. We have never received the items we left in the first room or even a phone call from the manager (even though we left complete information and requested a call)!
