With 22 acres of "beautiful grounds" and "spacious rooms" (renovations in 2008 upgraded the suites), this creekside destination is popular with families "especially during the holiday season"; there's a range of spa services, tennis courts, a golf course and a summer camp for kids, but because it's an ownership resort "beware the time-share sales" pitches or escape to the "adjacent art galleries."

The walk by the Creek was very well done, manicured.
Coffee maker didn't work properly, none available in lobby or restaurant.
The hotel is one of the oldest in town. While it has been kept up, it just doesn't make it as "the hot spot" to stay. Clean and friendly.

The hotel upgraded our room which was very nice and accommodating. Very roomy and was nice with the kitchen.
Only one staff member working at the front desk of the resort.
This is an excellent and beautiful resort. The staff is very accommodating and the resort has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weekend.

I liked the atmosphere very much.
I found that there is much traffic on the main road and is very difficult and dangerous to go in and out of the main entrance.
It is the perfect place for relaxation. The surrounding atmosphere is breathtaking.
