"Right near the art museum, Chicago Symphony " and Grant Park, this huge, "older" convention site remains an "accommodating" "favorite" "for events" in the South Loop, with "conference and party rooms galore" and "nice-sized rooms" ("some with two bathrooms" and "great views of the lake"); but while it "recalls the days of grand hotels" – note the "classic double marble staircases" – iconoclasts argue this "institution" is "showing her age" ("erratic service", "so-so restaurants"), and it's just too "isolated" for the business crowd.

No exhaust fan in bathroom, room service too expensive.

Overall, experience was just ok but not what I expected for 4 stars, maybe a 3. Room service meals were good, but way too expensive, the staff even expected to be tipped more.

Convenient airline check-in kiosk in the lobby was great.

Could not figure out the heating system - it was a bit cold in my room.

This hotel was one of the nicer hotels I have stayed at. The lobby and decor was beautiful and full of marble. A very busy happening place.

The Chicago Hilton is a 1st-class hotel with a rich tradition and a very up-to-date presentation. I was totally pleased and satisfied to be able to stay here.

Double bathrooms!

High parking fee $55! And self parking was full.

Beautiful historic old hotel. Loved the running track but $15 to use the weight machine seems excessive. Loved the rooms with double bathrooms! I do recommend this hotel.

We had 2 double beds. In the past, have always had a queen/king. It was disappointing for a weekend in the city with my husband.
