Hotel Information
Located in a romantic street leading to the medieval castle of Vianden, this residence is situated in one of the most beautiful places in the country.Maria and Jean Nelissen Beckers have run this Auberge for over 37 years. They aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible.After 4 months of renovation, you can enjoy the new cosy rooms and a new brasserie.The restaurant serves seasonal dishes, while the brasserie has a cosy bar and offers traditional dishes. Different menus are available, as well as children menus.There are parking spaces across from the hotel, as well as a garage for bicycles.The garage for bicycles and motor bikes is secured and available free of charge.

The Restaurant ... of which we are proud. The interieur ... warm and with lots of love for details. The gastronomic à la Carte Restaurant with a capacity of 30 - to 70 persons. The Kitchen ... season bound, fresh, classic. Maintained and presented according to the French tradition. The owners hobby since 35 years ... behind the oven.Our hotel has 2 restaurants, a Brasserie and a Gastronomic Restaurant. During summer we invite you to our terrace .The gastronomic menu changes every 6 to 8 weeks. The most beautiful season is the spring with its newcomers, but the highlight is the wild season which starts in October. International and regional specialities are on the menu through the whole year.

Room Information
After refurbishment, all cosy rooms offer the same level of comfort. They have an en suite bathroom and are equipped with all common facilities including beds with Latoflex, a seating area and modern furniture.The standard rooms are located on the 3rd floor and are non-smoking rooms.Non-smoking rooms and Familyrooms (max 2 children) are always Rooms Grand Comfort (1st and 2nd floor). In our guesthouse opposite the hotel we have 14 Rooms Grand Comfort and there is an elevator.

Area Information
Our Hotel is located in the centre of Vianden in a small street leading to the Castle of Vianden. The small park and the start of many walking paths are right in front of the hotel. There is also a children's playground.Close to the hotel there is the Puppetmuseum and the Museum of Art Rustique.There is heated swimmingpool in Vianden, a chairlift above the valley, mini-golf, many biking and hiking routes and bicylce rent in town.

Good location.

Terrible service.

Auberge Du Chateau is located in the heart of Vianden, which is why we chose to stay there. We had no issues with the room itself, but upon check out, we had a simple misunderstanding with the couple that runs/owns the hotel, and we were subjected to the worst treatment we have ever experienced by someone in the hotel industry. They were rude, unkind, and unprofessional. If you do choose to stay at this hotel, know that the service/treatment from the hotel staff could very well be atrocious. ...read more
