Stay at the Hampton Inn next door. The comfort Inn is a bad experience.

Traveling as Couple
lose of electicity.
Bugs in the room, lose of electricity the next morning. Unable to shower (no water or lights). Staff seemed indifferent to the inconvenience of guests. There was an HBO Guide in the room, but no HBO. When I made contact with the front desk they advised that HBO was on channel 2, when told it was not on channel 2 they had no response. ...read more

Solo Traveler
I read some poor review of this hotel, but I stayed here because it was where I needed it to be. In my opinion, the negative reviews are unwarranted. While the lobby smelled like smoke, my room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was nice. I noticed while checking in, that there were people who stay there repeatedly, including truckers--which I see as a good sign, as they're in the know and chose the Comfort Inn over the Hampton Inn right next door. ...read more

This hotel met its purpose for my travel and the front desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast was more than expected and the attached Perkins was handy.

Family with Teens
Without exception, this is the worse place I have stayed in at least 25 years. There are only a couple of choices in this town and this one was listed as a two star. I have stayed at two stars, while lacking in some amenities, they are usually clean and reasonably maintained. This was unkempt (4 foot tall weeds next to the entry door, hole in the parking lot, dirt in the common area). I've seen hotels when they need some capital investment renewal. This one not only needed that but was far worse. There is no excuse for skimping on basic maintenance and cleanliness. Do not stay here.
