Hampton Inn Newark-Airport

The hotel facilities were nice; however, the staff was not helpful until there was a major problem which is too late.

Hotel was fine for what I needed. Spent very little time there other than to sleep and eat breakfast at the lobby which was good.

Hotel is worth the money.

It's a great hotel with good staff and good location both to NYC and Newark airport.

I would stay there again but ask for a room thatmay be quieter.

Overall, hotel is in a good location and was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good and I like the idea that coffee and tea was available all day.

Only 5 minutes from the airport, but the room was quiet even though the hotel is near both a freeway and a major airport. The room was nice, with extras like an iron and ironing board, coffee maker, etc. The room also has a nice desk setup for the business traveler. The bed was quite comfortable, and the air conditioner was unsurpassed. The hotel has no restaurant, but has menus at the front desk to order out, and you may walk to the hotel next door to use their restaurant if you like, though it is rather pricey. The complimentary continental breakfast may well be the nicest I've seen, and the breakfast seating area is very attractive. Needed a place at the last minute to attend my daughter's basketball tournament in Bayonne, NJ. Price was right, room was very clean. The area was just not very nice. I was also nervous about leaving my car in the parking lot. Although nothing happened, I was apprehensive. ...read more
