Traveling as Couple
Very good,like I said the bathroom tubs had alittle mildew or dark discoloration. Everything was clean otherwise.

Solo Traveler
Room was contemporariness updated to even include a clock/radio with an Ipod dock. The beds were comfortable to sleep in, but the pillows were too mushy to suit me. Impressed that one of the amenities in the bathroom was travel-size toothpaste. Bathroom also included a magnifying make-up mirror, but it was not lighted very well. Disappointed that on a Saturday night, there was no one playing any music in the bar area. Appeared there was a stage area for that purpose. Would have probably stayed at the bar and spent more money if there had been music to listen to. Don't consider watching TV's with no sound to be heard and some without captioning to be entertaining and a reason to remain at the bar. ...read more

Family with Teens
This hotel is in a wonderful location - within walking distance of major areas of Chicago. Cab rides are not that long to other places, close to the theater district, close to Michigan Avenue shopping. Just a great great location. Traveling as Couple
The Hyatt was clean and conveniently located to Daly Plaza. The lounge, called big, not only has big barstools and drinks but a hefty price tag for soft drinks. There was signage throughout the hotel and our room about an Irish bar on site but when we tried to walk to it we were stopped by a hotel employee and asked what we were doing, then were told the bar was closed. This was a good location and a nice room but I won't rush back due to the $48 per day valet parking on site. ...read more

The location of the hotel is excellent. However, I paid extra for a king size bed and a room with a view and was forced to pick one or the other at check-in.

We've stayed here a number of times in the past as it is so convenient, well-located, comfortable and rooms are amazingly quiet, considering the size and location.
